Track 2: Sustaining Prevention Programs in a Tough Economy
Session Title: 2A - Using Program Evaluation to Improve and Help Sustain Prevention Programs
Overview:
This presentation will focus on program evaluation as a tool to make improvements to a program and how to build compelling reports to report program effectiveness to stakeholders and funders. With the current economic climate, program funders will be under increasing pressure to make sure their money is being invested in programs that are meeting goals and objectives and that these goals and objectives are having a meaningful impact on those it serves. However, this can be a blessing in disguise as you re-examine how you are evaluating your program and how you might be able to make improvements to both your program evaluation protocol and the program itself.
