Session Title: 3B - Success in Underage Drinking and Liquor Law 101


Overview:
This presentation will cover the Maine Youth Drug and Alcohol Survey (MYDAUS) results to show how alcohol use has gone down in this age group since 2000 and will demonstrate how the following family and community attitudes, as perceived by the students, influence students’ decisions whether or not to use alcohol. This will be followed by community solutions and Maine Liquor Laws, a description of the Alcohol Enforcement Team and the database that is used to keep track of pertinent information. Participants will see and learn about the database used by the enforcement team to collect necessary data.
