APPLICATION AND DEADLINE INFORMATION
|
|
To ensure your space at the Summer School, send your application with complete information early. Classes and housing are assigned by processed application date. Each year, NESAS receives more applications than it can accept and many are placed on a waiting list.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you submit your registration form to your agency business office for processing, it may be delayed while a check is being issued. It is recommended that you obtain an agency purchase order or letter authorizing agency billing and send with your application form in the meantime to assure timely processing of your application.
If your application has been processed, you will receive written confirmation of your acceptance, directions, and other information via email about two weeks prior to the school. Confirmations may bemailed via United States Postal Service if specifically requested by the participant. Due the large volume of applications received and late breaking applicant changes, confirmations will not be sent before May 16, 2008.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS APRIL 25, 2008. Applications will be accepted after April 25, 2008 on a space available basis only. Applications must be on the forms provided in the catalog or online. Photocopies of the forms are acceptable.
Applications must be accompanied by a $250 deposit with complete payment information, credit card authorization, agency purchase order, or agency letter authorizing billing.
The deadline for scholarship applications varies by state. To assure consideration, it is advised that these requests be sent to the appropriate state agency by mid-March 2008. Contact your state agency for definitive deadline information.
Deadline for Requests for Sign Language Interpreter/CART: April 1, 2008. If you require a Sign Language Interpreter or CART service, your application must be received at the NEIAS office by April 1, 2008 so the appropriate arrangements can be made.
Participants can attend the Full Program (Monday - Friday), or select the Partial Program option to attend Tracks A and B (Monday - Wednesday). Housing space on campus is limited. All housing is in single bedrooms, charged at the single rate, unless you have a roommate. NEIAS will NOT match participants in double bedrooms, unless they have requested each other.
