SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

New England State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Agencies

Each year, a limited number of partial scholarships are offered by some of the New England State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Agencies within their respective states. Each state differs in the amount of scholarship offered and the process by which it is awarded.

Information and/or applications for these scholarships must be requested directly through the state agency where you work. Deadline for scholarship applications varies by state. But to assure consideration, it is advised that these requests be sent to the appropriate state agency by mid-March 2008. Contact the state agency representatives listed below for instructions and definitive deadline information.
  • Simply applying to the school does not mean that you have applied for a scholarship. You must follow your state's scholarship application process and meet your state's scholarship application deadlines.

  • Scholarship applications may also be downloaded below, or contact the New England Institute at or 207-621-2549 for more information.

  • CT PARTICIPANTS: Connecticut DMHAS scholarships to ALL NEIAS Schools are awarded each year in a multi-event scholarship process that begins in February and concludes in April.
  • Important Reminders:
  • The school application IS NOT a state scholarship application. To be considered for a scholarship, you must complete your state scholarship application - see below for contacts.

  • If you apply for a scholarship and will NOT attend if you do not receive scholarship funding, select "Please withdraw if I do not receive a scholarship" on your application form. Otherwise, you will be responsible for your balance due if you do not cancel your application.
