2017 New England School of Addiction Studies and Prevention Studies

June 5 - 8, 2017, Worcester State University, MA

New England State Specific:

Substance Use Disorders State Agencies Scholarship Information

A limited number of partial scholarships are offered by some of the New England State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Agencies to support the attendance at summer school by professionals from specific states.

  • Each state differs in the amount of scholarship offered and the process by which it is awarded.
  • Visit the links below to access a scholarship application.
  • Contact the state agency representatives listed below for scholarship questions.
  • Deadline for scholarship applications varies by state, and deadlines may be viewed below.
  • To assure consideration, it is advised that these requests be sent to the appropriate state agency as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: The school application IS NOT a state scholarship application and the state scholarship application is NOT a school application. These are two separate forms that must be completed and sent to the appropriate agency. To be considered for a scholarship, you must complete your state scholarship application – see below for contacts, or contact the New England Institute.

If you apply for a scholarship and will NOT attend if you do not receive scholarship funding, select "Please withdraw if I do not receive a scholarship” on your New England School application form. Otherwise, you will be responsible for your balance due if you do not cancel your application.

NOTE: In order to reserve a spot at summer school, you must indicate how you will pay for your registration balance, and what to do if you do not receive a scholarship. Most scholarships pay only partial school tuition and payment of the balance is required of all applicants, including those seeking scholarship support.
